This vintage Fam-Line set includes two hardshell suitcases and a train case in
a blue-gray tweed pattern with contrasting navy blue trim along the edges. This
well made set features the Fam-Line logo on the larger suitcase (it is missing
from the smaller case and train case,) and brass-tone hardware.

This set was obviously well loved and well travelled, “used but not abused”
and lightly distressed, but has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. There
are some scuffs, scratches, and discoloration on the outsides and some broken
stitches in the trim. The middle sized suitcase is missing some rivets from one
of the hinges, that we have not attempted to repair. There is significant
patina to the hardware and some wear to the handles. The bags are also embossed
with the initials of the previous owner. Despite a few minor flaws, these bags
are fully functional and full of character-overall, a great looking set! The
linings on the two suitcases are in very good condition, and I’ve refurbished
the train case by adding a new travel themed fabric lining on the inside and
under the lid.

Large suitcase: 21.5" x 14" x 7" with navy blue satin lining
Medium suitcase: 18" x 12" x 6" with peach satin lining
Train case: 13" x 10" x 8" with red vinyl lining and refurbished fabric lining
on top and bottom

Set does not include keys. Suitcases stack nicely but they do not nest inside
of each other. Wood stand shown in pictures not included.

This set would be perfect for overnight travel, a road trip, or would be a
stylish alternative to baskets or bins in a vanity space. Also ideal for
display or props for theater or film. Bring back that old world glamour!
