Black calf's leather handbag probably from the forties. This handbag has a
light grey suede type lining, a zip up inner pocket for coins, a mirror or a
small comb, the upper pocket is trimmed in black.

The inside lining of the handbag shows very little wear and usage, apart from
some blue ink pen markings in the base of the bag, and some brownish spotting
on one side, which could be due to the age of the item. The handle is strong
and sturdy, though it may need slight re- stitching or a bit of leather
adhesive for added strength, though this can hardly be noticed.

The clasp is strong, with a large round detail in the centre, and when lifted
up or down the bag can then be opened and closed, (the back does not snap or
clip shut like most handbags normally do), while the metal frame of the handbag
has two MFS logos on the inside.
