From the 1970’s, a burgundy/dark red Samsonite soft-sided vinyl suitcase. This
suitcase features as padded vinyl handle for carrying comfort, double zipper
closure, extra closure security with a fold over the top strap with buckle
closure and ‘Samsonite’ logo tag. The inside does have an open pouch and
elastic straps but both are not functioning due to the aging of the elastic.
These could be just removed, if preferred. Travel in vintage style with this
great medium sized suitcase - perfect for the weekend getaway!

Condition: Overall the exterior and interior of this suitcase is in great
condition considering its age. As mentioned above, the interior open side pouch
and cross elastics have lost their elasticity due to age. But these could be
cut out and removed, if desired. The bottom feet on the luggage appear to be
possibly missing but they also may just be designed this way with the possible
option of adding wheels originally. This is not certain. The feet are fully
functional and really do not cause a problem during use or take anything away
from the otherwise great condition of this suitcase.
