The case is rigid and has a leather handle on hinges.

It is just like my dad's. He still has his in the wardrobe, looking a little
battered now, but he has stored all his old photos and documents in there since
he was young.

The case measures 14 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches plus the
handle. The name A Perry is written on the top.

The case is in good condition with wear in keeping for the age, the base is a
little worn and the lining has detached on one corner on the inside as can be
seen in the pictures. It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
The latch takes some persuasion if trying to operate it one handed.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical
piece or authentic period prop or stage prop.
